Activate Your Account - Help

To activate your online account, you will need to complete the providerConnectTM Secure Services Online Account Activation. Just follow these steps:

  1. Select a Provider Type (Dental provider, Drug provider or Extended Health Services provider).


  2. Click Continue.


  3. Enter your registration key and provider number in the fields provided and click continue. You should have received your registration key and provider number by email or regular mail. If you do not know your registration key and/or provider number, please email support@providerconnect.ca for assistance.


  4. Email Address – enter the email address you will use to sign into providerConnect.


  5. Confirm Email Address – enter your email address again.


  6. Click Send verification code. An email will be sent with a verification code to validate your email address is correct.


  7. Enter the verification code that was in the email.


  8. Click Verify Code.


  9. Create Password – enter in your own personal password.
    • Must be between 8 and 32 characters
    • Must contain at least one numeric value
    • Must contain at least one upper case letter
    • Must contain at least one lower case letter
    • Must not contain any blanks or spaces
    • Must contain at least one special character


  10. Re-enter Password – confirm your password by entering it again.


  11. Click Next.


If your online account was activated successfully, you should see an Account Activation Successful page. You can now sign into your providerConnect Secure Services online account using your email address and password.
